Department of BCA stamped its print in Vidyasagar College of Arts and Science fraternity from the Academic year 2000 with the aim to develop core competence in the field of computer science and prepare the students to carry out development work and to take up the challenges in current IT Industry. Bachelor in Computer Application is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications. The duration of the course is 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. It comprises the subjects like database, networking, data structure, web designning, core programming languages like ‘C’ , ‘C++’ and ‘java’.
Department of Computer Application also paves the platform for attaining knowledge and get exposed to latest technologies like Internet of Things, Big Data, Machine Learning and Deep learning.
