About Vidyasagar College of Arts and Science

Founded in 1991, Vidyasagar College of Arts and Science is a distinguished institution located along NH 83 at Poolankinar, Udumalpet – Pollachi Road. For over three decades, we have stood as a symbol of academic integrity, innovation, and inclusive education.

Vidyasagar college is established by Shri V.Vidyasagar,V.Sathayanathan they well Known Philapthropist , industrialist and withgreat vision from a humble begining in the early nineties,we have grown from strength to strength over 34years

Today The legacy is being carried forward by Smt. Padmawati Sathyanathan who is currently the managing Trustee and Secretary of the college.

Over the years our student strength has scaled appreciably to around 1600 with staff strength of over 125 teaching and non-teaching members. The college now offers 10 UG courses 5 post graduate courses and part time and full time research programs in all disciplines. Our college is affiliated to Bharathiar University – Coimbatore, approved by Government of Tamilnadu and UGC and re-accredited by NAAC

Our college offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs including B.Com, B.Com (PA), BCA, B.Sc. Mathematics, B.Sc. IT, B.Com (CA), B.Sc. Computer Science,B.Sc Data Science, B.A. Tamil, BBA, and B.A. English. These courses are designed to equip students with relevant industry skills, critical thinking abilities, and a lifelong learning mindset.

With a highly qualified faculty team, modern classrooms, computer labs, and well-stocked libraries, we create an academically stimulating environment. The campus infrastructure supports both educational and personal growth, offering students the tools they need to succeed.
