🔸 UYIR CLUB

Understanding the fact that the Road Safety is not only the shared concern but also the shared responsibility of the Government and a range of civil society stakeholders including Industries Media, NGOs and every common man in the society.

“Uyir” is a Non-Governmental Organization, Registered under Trust Act on 7th Day of March’2018, It was started From our college at 27th day of Febrarury’2025.

Uyir initiates the following programs to meet its core objectives:

  • To promote and involve the culture of road safety amongst students studying in all Educational Institutions and make then young and active ambassadors of road safety.
  • To spearhead a people’s movement for Road Safety in the whole country where every citizen will be a champion for preventing road accident deaths and disability.
  • To create awareness amongst riders and pedestrians so that roads will no longer be killing fields.
  • To work with and assist Government departments, especially the Police and road transport departments to achieve these goals.
